In this video we pay a visit to one of the best neighborhoods in Chicago, Wicker Park! It is located west of downtown, between Western Ave & Ashland Ave, South of Bloomingdale, and North of Division Street.

Wicker Park is known for great dining, exciting nightlife, fantastic shopping, historic architecture, and a variety of things to do.

To get to Wicker Park from the Loop, take the CTA Blue Line and get off at the Division or Damen stop. You can also take the 56 Milwaukee bus from the Loop, the 72 North Ave bus from Lincoln Park / Old Town / Gold Coast.

Wicker Park is known for its varied and highly rated restaurants. New ones are opening all the time, here are some of my favorites: Kizuki Izakaya, Native Foods Cafe, Big Star, Cebu, Potbelly’s, Pasta Bowl, Furious Spoon, Pork & Mindy’s.

For coffee, stop by Fairgrounds, La Colombe, or Wormhole. Drinks can be had at Whisky Business, Emporium Arcade, The Up Room (The Robie), and Violet Hour.

My favorite things to do in Wicker Park are hiking The Bloomingdale Trail (The 606) and going to The Robie rooftop.

I hope you enjoyed this Chicago Vlog / Wicker Park Chicago Travel Guide!
