Starved Rock State Park may be one of the best day trips you can take from Chicago! An hour and a half drive from the city brings you to the park, which hosts over two million visitors annually, the most for any Illinois state park.

With over 2600 acres, 13 miles of trails, and 18 canyons to explore, Starved Rock is a great place for a getaway from the city where you can enjoy the outdoors.

In this video, Jamie and I show off our favorite areas in the park – and of course, we saved the best for last!
